Plastics piping systems
Since its establishment, BCCA has been active in the certification of plastics piping systems.
This concerns both drainage systems (sewers outside and inside buildings) and supply systems (sanitary pipes, underfloor heating), which are certified under two voluntary quality labels: BENOR and ATG.
In the plastics piping systems sector, a lot of attention is also paid to sustainability and recycling. The BENOR implementing regulations have been adapted in order to certify a new type of PVC pipe containing recycled material for drainage and sewerage applications under the BENOR label.
For ATG, it is always the entire system (pipes and fittings) that is taken into account and the installation guidelines are included in the ATG text. ATG certification also covers negative-pressure rainwater drainage systems.
Since 1 January 2025, execution certification for sewer renovation has been launched in the form of process certification.
